This is Philosophy Goes to War! It is a repository of my views on issues related to war, the military, and masculinity, as well as the occasional miscellaneous topic.

Though I am an academic philosopher, I don’t write like one here. I get personal, sentimental, and a little punchy.

I only publish thoughts that need to be said. I do not repeat conventional wisdoms or engage in platitudes. I am drawn to topics and ideas that are not the focus of ordinary commentary. I tend to lean into controversial issues.
